Question 417920: Please help! Desperately need assistance. I feel braindead! This is so confusing. Water is being pumped out of a pool. the number of gallons "W" left in the pool at a time "T" can be modeled by W(t)= -7t plus 350. Please help. it will be greatly appreciated.

W(t)= -7t plus 350.
Assuming that you want to find how long (t) to empty the pool; W(t) = 0
0 = -7t + 350
add 7t to both sides
7t = 350
divide both sides by 7
t =
t = 50 minutes or whatever the units for t you are using
