(x+10)(x-2)(x+2)>0 The roots for this equation are; x=-10; x=-2; x=2.In this inequality we have three linear factors; x+10; x-2; x+2. We study each of them.
x+10 is positive for x>-10 and negative for x<-10.
x+2 is positive for x>-2 and negative for x<-2
x-2 is positive for x>2 and negative for x<2
Their product is positive for -102
Thus the solution set is R={ x such that: ( -10< x <-2) U (x>2)}.
