Let us find its intercept form.
2x + 3y = 6 can be written as
2x%2F6+%2B+3y%2F6+=+6%2F6+=+1
or x%2F3+%2B+y%2F2+=+1

This means the length of intercept of this st line on the x and y axes are 3 and 2 respectively.
[The term in the denominator under x is the intercept on x axis and that under y is the intercept on y axis]
So the st. line cuts the coordinate axes at (3,0) and (0,2).
