Question 407398: y=2x-5 find y coordinates of (-2), (4) and (-1)
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Simply plug in the x coordinates and simplify. So for instance, given an x coordinate of x = -2, this means that
y = 2x-5
y = 2(-2)-5
y = -4-5
y = -9
So the complete point is (-2,-9)
I'll let you do the rest.
