Using the point-slope formula, 

(0,3) and 

(2,-9)  m =[ 3-(-9)] / (0-2) = 12/-2 = -6

 



 y = -6x + b    |using ordered pair Pt(0,3) to solve for b

 3 = b 

y = -6x + 3
