Question 400061: These are my questions, and thank you very much for your help.
1) What is the slope of a line that is parallel to the graph of (1/2)y = x+6
2) For what value(s) of r is 3r-6 = 7+3r?
3)16% of 980 is 9.8% of what number?
4)Solve x-2y = 12 if the domain is (-3, -1, 0, 2, 5)
5)What is the range of f(x)=[x-1]?
Here are my 5 questions...I'm sure at least some of them are easier than they look. But I'm not very good at math and my math book has a thing about wording problems weird and making them confusing, so...anyway, get back to me when you can. I really appreciate it.

Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1) What is the slope of a line that is parallel to the graph of (1/2)y = x+6
y = 2x + 12
2
---------
2) For what value(s) of r is 3r-6 = 7+3r?
Subtract 3r
-6 = 7
No values.
---------------
3)16% of 980 is 9.8% of what number?
980*0.16 = 156.8
n = 156.8/0.098
n = 1600
