1760 YDS=1 MILE THEN 3520/1760=X/1 OR 1760X=3520 OR X=3520/1760 OR 2 MILES

You need to know that 1 mile = 1760 yds.
Divide both sides by 1760 to get
1 yd = (1/1760)mile
Multiply both sides by 3520 to get:
