Assuming that the equation is
Start with the given equation.
Plug in (since we want to know the value 'v' when it's t=9 years)
Multiply and to get
Reduce
Combine like terms.
So the program's worth after 9 years is $0. In other words, the program is worthless after 9 years (so this the point of no return)
So when , giving us the point (9,0)
