Hi,
the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
In this case b = 8 and
the slope is -3/2 = -1 using(5-8)/(3-0)
Slope can also be determined by graphing.
Note:line slants to left, slope is negative
And as y changes by one, so does x
y = -x + 8
