Lets find the value of the intercept.
y=mx+b
-6=2/7(-8)+ b
-6+16/7=b
b=-42+16/7
b=-26/7
Now, take the slope (2/7) and intercept -26/7 to get the equation
y = mx + b
y= 2/7x - 26/7
