Question 383002: Find the y-intercept of the line represented by the following equation.
-2x+2y=16
Could some one please explain this to me where i can figure out how to do the rest of the problems. Thank you

Answer by guitarheroguy(26)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Easy! Even though the equation is in standard form, it already gives you the y-intercept. Other times, however, you need to put it in slope-intercept form. (Remember that slope-intercept form is y=mx+b)
-2y+2y=16
Your y-intercept is 16!
