Question 379952: Can you explain how to work out how to get the slope and y-intercept of the equation 3x=y-1 ?
Answer by robertb(5830)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Reduce to slope-intercept form.
Transpose -1 to the left side: y = 3x + 1. This is already in slope-intercept form. The slope is 3, and the y-intercept is 1.
