Question 3770: I have been told that the following equation needs to be broken up into 4 so that it can be solved.
if w = 10, x = 5.5 y = 4 and z = 3
solve equation
aw + bx +cy + dz = 140.
Please could someone show me an example of how I might do this? Thank you.

Answer by longjonsilver(2297)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I did not say you had to split the equation into 4. What I meant to say is that you have not supplied or not been given enough information.

You need 3 other equations apart from this one unless i am missing something obvious in your question.
