Using the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b 

where m is the slope and b the y-intercept. 

equation of the line if the slope m = -3...

y = -3x + b  using ordered pair Pt(1,1) to solve for b

1 = -3 + b

4 = b

y = -3x + 4 is the equation of the line
