are these pair of line parallel, perpendicular or neither ?
8x=5y+3
-16x+10y=3
1st equation
8x=5y+3
5y = 8x - 3
y = 8x/5 - 3/5
slope = 8/5
2nd equation
-16x+10y=3
10y = 16x + 3
y = 16x/10 +3/10
y = 8x/5 + 3/10
slope = 8/5
These pair of lines are parallel since their slopes are identical
