Question 372155: How does slope create rising and falling lines?
Answer by robertb(5830)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It stems from the definition of slope, which is rise/run. If there is a positive run (advance towards the right) but negative rise, the line would fall, but if there is positive rise, the line would rise. Hope that helps.
