Question 36890: (2,-1)m=3
Answer by checkley71(8403)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Y=3X+b through point(2,-1) with a slope of 3
to find the y intercept we subtract 2 from the x point thus x=0 now we have to subtract 2+3 (3 is the slope) or -6 from the y point thus we get -1-6=-7 so the y intercept is -7 now we have y=3x-7
