Multiply both sides of the equation by -1 to get:
y = (-3/4)x + 5

Graph:
Let x = 0, then y = 5
Let x = 4, then y = 2
Plot (0,5) and (4,2) and draw a line thru them to get:

Nice work! Now divide every term by -1.
Where is -1? It is indicated by the negative in front of y.
In other words, -y means -1 times y.
The same is true for any variable. If there is a negative sign in front of a variable, it is considered to be -1 times the variable.
Back to your question.
-y = (3/4)x - 5
y = (-3/4)x + 5
