THE SLOPE OF 4X+Y=7 NEED TO BE IN THE FORM Y=mX+b so y=-4x+7 THEREFORE THE SLOPE IS -4 (X MULTIPLIER = m). ANY LINE WITH A SLOPE OF -4 IS PARALLEL TO THIS LINE.
