i understand slope intersect form but not standard form i know to find the slope you do negative "A" over "B" but how do you find the x and y intercept example: 3x+4y=6 the slope would be -3 over 4 would the y intercept be 2??????
------------
If you start with Ax+By = C
y = (-A/B)x + (C/B)
---
Notice that the slope = -A/B
and the y-intercept is C/B
----
Your Problem
slope = -A/B = -3/4
y-int = C/B = 6/4 = 3/2
