Question 346977: write the slope
through (-1,-5), perp. to y=-1/5x

Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(-1,-5), perp. to
y=-1/5x
slope = -1/5
slope of line perpendicular to this line = 5
passing through (-1,-5)
plug the values to find b
in the equation y = mx+b
-5=5*-1+b
-5=-5+b
b=0
the line will be y = 5x with slope 5
