Hi,
*Note: y = mx + b is the slope-intercept equation for a line where b is the y-intercept
y-intercept is (-5) therefore (0,-5) is a point on the line.
.
Slope = 1/4 which tell one: as y increases by 1, x increases by 4.
(4,-4) is therefore another pt on the line.
.

y=(1)/(4)*x-5
Multiply (1)/(4) by x to get (x)/(4).
y=(x)/(4)-5
To find the slope and y intercept, use the y=mx+b formula where m=slope and b is the y intercept.
y=mx+b
Using the y=mx+b formula, m=(1)/(4) and b=-5.
m=(1)/(4), b=-5
Your points to graph are 0,-5 -8, -7 and 8, -3.
Draq your line after graphing the above points and you will be able to see al of the other points within the line
