Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
L=3W+4
2L+2W=72
2(3W+4)+2W=72
6W+8+2W=72
8W=72-8
8W=64
W=64/8
W=8 ANS. FOR THE WIDTH.
L=3*8+4
L=24+4=28 ANS, FOR THE LENGTH.
PROOF:
2*28+2*8=72
56+16=72
72=72
