Question 341363: please hepl me solve this question: Write an equaition for the line that passes throught point p and is perpendicular to the line with the given equation; P(3,5) y=4.
I know I need point slope and the spe should be the negative reciporacal of the perpendicular line but i dont remember how to do it without an x intercept.
Thank you for your help.

please hepl me solve this question: Write an equaition for the line that passes through point p and is perpendicular to the line with the given equation; P(3,5) y=4.
--------
y=4 is a horizontal line.
A perpendicular line would have to be a vertical line.
If it passes thru (3,5) it must pass through all the
points were x = 3.
----
Equation:
x = 3
