Question 335240: What is one possible value for the slope of a line passing through point
(-1, 1) and passing between points (1, 3) and (2, 3) but not containing either of them?
Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Use the slope formula to calculate the slope of the line that passes through (-1, 1) and (1, 3). Then repeat the process for (-1, 1) and (2, 3).
Use:
where
and
are the coordinates of the given points.
Once you have your two slope values, select any value between those two values, but not including either.

My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
