Question 332643: (-3,2),m=-4/3 what is the slope intercept form of the equation of the line?
Answer by benazir.sj@gmail.com(109)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x1=-3 y1=2 m=-4/3
slope intercept form is
y=mx +b
but here the x1 and y1 values are givenso wecan apply the formula
y-y1=m(x-x1)
y-2= -4/3(x-(-3))
y-2 =-4/3(x+3)
y-2=-4/3x-4/3*3
y-2=-4/3x-4
y=-4/3x-4+2
y=-4/3x-2
the slope intercept form is
y = -4/3x-2
