Question 315053: What is the perpendicular line for y= 3-4x
Answer by Jstrasner(112) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
hey,
So, as a rule, a perpendicular line has a slope that is oppositely (-/+) and is the reciprocal of the other line
We have: -4x
Therefore, the slope is:
(1/4)x
Therefore, the line is:
y=(1/4)x+3
I hope this helps!
