Question 31276: PLOT ATLEAST FIVE POINTS FOR X+4Y=5
CAN YOU SHOW HOW THE GRAPH IS DONE
Answer by troyapplehelen(46) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1. this is a line passing two points (0,-5/4) and (5,0).
2. on graph paper, plot a dot, when x=0, y=-5/4, and when x=5, y=0.
3. draw a line connecting these two dots.
4. then find other three dots as u like. make sure use real graph paper
in order to find correct dots. or subsitute x=1,-1,2,or-2 and find y values.
in the foumular x+4y=5 then, those will be the dots.
