find the slope of
15x = 5y + 2
Subtract 15x from both sides
0 = -15x + 5y + 2
subtract 5y from both sides
-5y = -15x + 2
Multiply both sides by -1
5y = 15x - 2
divide both sides by 5
y = 3x -
or
y = 3x - .4
:
This this is the slope intercept form y - mx - b
slope (m) = +3

an easier way
15x=5y+2
subtract 5y from both sides
15x-5y=2
m=-a/b
-15/-5=3
m=3
slope = 3
