Ok, as far as I'm concerned, the first step is optional, but it may make it easier for you

  1. Multiply both sides by 10 to clear decimals:
    becomes
  2. add 60 to each side:
    becomes
  3. Divide both sides by 35:


  4. So, x equals (I'll let you convert it to lowest terms) (Exact answer)
    Or x equals 18.428571 (Approximate answer)
