You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-4=6(x-7)-3x ----(1)
-4 = 6x-(6X7)-3x
-4 = 6x-42-3x
-4+42 = (6x-3x) (grouping like terms)(when side is changed then sign is changed)
38 = 3x
3x= 38
x=38/3= 12 and 2/3
Verification: RHS of (1) is
6(x-7)-3x = 6x-42-3x = 3x-42=38-42=-4 = LHS
