I assume that you want to find the values for x and y? There are several ways to do this. One of the simplest is to use substitution. Substitute the value of y from the first equation into the second equation. We get:
4x-2 = 9-5x
Add like terms.
4x+5x = 9 + 2
9x = 11
x = 11/9 or 1 2/9

Now we can go back and substitute the value we have found for x into either of the two equations and solve for y. Let's use the first equation.
y = 4(11/9) - 2
y = 44/9 - 2 = 26/9 or 2 8/9
