Question 289018: find an equation for the linear function that satisfies: f(-3)=5 and the graph of the inverse passes through the point (2,1)
Ive tried (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) Using slope found, x-int added creating the equation y=(-4/3)x+2

Hint: If f(-3)=5, then the point (-3,5) lies on the line. Also, if "the graph of the inverse passes through the point (2,1) ", then the point (1,2) lies on the original graph (the coordinates of any point on the inverse graph are swapped). So this line goes through the points (-3,5) and (1,2)
