Question 285779: How do I graph lines using y-intercept and slope on y = 3x - 2?
Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y = 3x - 2
The y intercept=-2 (0,-2)
The slope=3
A slope of 3 is a change of the y coordinates divided by the change of the x coordinates.
In this case this slope=3y/1x
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, 3x -2).
