y intercept is when x=0 so plug in 0 for x and solve for y
x intercept is when y=0 so plug 0 in for y ans solve for x

The easiest way to find intercepts, is to set x and y, respectively to 0, then solving.
x:

y:
3x+-+4%280%29+=+24

Therefore, x-intercept: (-6, 0), y-interecept: (0, 8)
