Question 277776: What is the slope of the line 2x + 1/3 y = –8?
Answer by vksarvepalli(154) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
general line equation can be written as y=mx+c where m is the slope
so to find the slope of the line 2x + 1/3 y = –8
multiply entire equation by 3
we get 6x+y=-24
so y=-6x-24
so slope is -6 Ans
