Question 275743: find the intercepts of the equations graph. then graph the equation. 2.1x+3.5y=10.5
Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2.1x+3.5y=10.5
3.5y=-2.1x+10.5
y=-2.1/3.5+10.5/3.5
y=-.6x+3 the y interceptis (0,3)
Setting y=0 & solving for x we get the x intercept.
0=-.6x+3
.6x=3
x=3/.6
x=5 the x intercept (5,0)
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 6, y from -10 to 10, -.6x +3).
