Question 268551: find the equation of a line with slope 1/2 and passing through the point (-4,3)
Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Y=mX+b m=SLOPE & b=Y INTERCEPT.
3=1/2*-4+b
3=-4/2+b
3=-2+b
b=3+2
b=5 ans. for the Y intercept.
Y=X/2+5
