Do not use x for multiplying use *.
If x= times then
27=3*9
9=3*3
(3*3)*3*7/3*3
3*3/3*3 cancel out
3*7=21
If x is a variable
27x^7/3x^3=9x^4

Answer by mlm47688(4)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
27x^7/3x^3
simp.--9x^7/1x^3
get exponents on top (the most x's are on the top) the division sign means subtrack the exponents. 9/1=9----x^7-x^3=x^4
9x^4
