Describe the transformation from the graph of
f(x)=4x to the graph of g(x)= (1/2)x
---
Find h(x) if h[f(x)] = (1/2)x
h[f(x)] = h(4x) = (1/2)x
h(x) = (1/8)x
----------------------------------
Let h(x) = (1/8)x
Then h[f(x)] = h(4x) = (1/8)(4x) = (1/2)x
----------------------
Ans: h(x) = (1/8)x
