Question 255692: 3x-6y=30
Answer by CharlesG2(834)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x-6y=30
hmmm? well I guess I can solve for x in relation to y and vice versa
but to actually solve for x and y you will need another equation of x and y
3x=30+6y
x=10+2y=2y+10
-6y=30-3x
-2y=10-x
2y=-10+x=x-10
y=(1/2)x-5
well, y=(1/2)x-5 is a line with slope 1/2 and y-intercept (0,b) of -5
