step 1 - find the slope of

and solve for y to get

* slope = (-2/3)
The perpendicular slope is the negative flip, or (3/2).
We solve

for y to get
y = (-2/k)x - 1/k.
The slope here is
-2/k which equals our perpendicular slope. We get
-2/k = (3/2)
k = -4/3.
