y = 1x + 2, the y-intercept is the number term, whihc is 2, and the slope is 1. the coefficient of x, which is .

Start by going up 2 units on the y axis, and put a point, which is the y intercept. Then with your pencil still on the y intercept, move UP 1 and RIGHT 1 and put another point. Connect these points with a line, and it should look like this:
