Question 243597: The function W(d)=0.112d approximates the amount, in centimeters, of water that results from d cm of snow melting. Find the amount of water that results from snow melting from depths of
10cm=?cm of water
37 cm=?cm of water
and 59 cm=?cm of water
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If d=10 cm, then simply plug in into to get and multiply . So if 10 cm of snow melts, then 1.12 cm of water results from it.
Apply the same technique to the other two parts.
