Solve each inequality. State the solution set in interval notation and sketch it graph.
2.The area of the triangle is 24 square feet, use the dimensions to write an equation expressing this fact. Do not solve equation.
The length is y
the width is y-2
3. Consecutive integers. Find two consecutive odd integers whose sum is 141.

y/4 - 5/12 >= y/3 + 1/4
3y-5>=4y+3 multiply each side by 12 to eliminate fractions.
-y>=8
y<=-8 reverse the inequality sign when multiplying or dividing by a negative number.
