Question 230502: give the slpoe of 2x+3y=10
Answer by unlockmath(1688)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Slope formula is y=mx + b (m is the slope)
You want to get the equation in this form so:
2x + 3y = 10 (subtract 2x from both sides)
3y = -2x + 10 (Then divide both sides by 3 to get y all by itself)
y = -2x/3 + 10/3
Therefore slope is -2/3
