graph the following equation to find a solution of this linear system
2y-4=0
x+2y=5

The graph of each equation is a straight line.
Pick 2 values of x and solve for y to get 2 points, then draw a line thru the 2 points. Do that for each equation.
Where the lines cross is the solution, the values of x and y that fit both equations.
------
2y-4=0
y = 2
That's a line parallel to the x-axis 2 units above it. For any value of x, y = 2.
------------
x+2y = 5 --> x = 5-2y
For this one, pick y's and solve for x.
y = 0 --> x = 5 --> (5,0)
y = 3 --> x = -1 --> (-1,3)
Draw a line thru the 2 points.
