Get the y terms on one side (the left side) and all the other terms to the right side, but adding -2x to each side:
2x + 3y = 6
2x - 2x + 3y = -2x + 6
3y = -2x + 6
Next, divide both sides by 3 to undo the 3. It can be done in two ways. Here is the first way:

OR the second way:
