:
the largest integer is subtracted from four times the smallest, the result
is 6 more than twice the sum of the two smallest integers.
:
4x - (x+4) = 2(x + (x+2)) + 6
Remove the brackets
4x - x - 4 = 2(2x+2) + 6
3x - 4 = 4x + 4 + 6
3x - 4 = 4x + 10
3x - 4x = 10 + 4
-x = 14
x = -14
:
-14, -12, -10 are the three integers
