Question 221408: 2y=-2(x+1)
Answer by drj(1380)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2y=-2(x+1)

Step 1. I assume you want it in slope intercept-form and graph. The slope-intercept form is y=mx+b where the slope is m and b is the y-intercept at b when x=0 or at point (0,b).

Step 2. Then put 2y=-2(x+1) in slope-intercept form as follows

Divide 2 to both sides of the equation

where the slope m=-1 and the y-intercept is -1 or at point (0,-1).

Step 3. Graph of y=-x-1 follows below:

I hope the above steps were helpful.
